Unfortunately, their efforts are not enough, and the case seems to be completely airtight. Even the best efforts of a famous lawyer, Daniel Webster, are not enough to turn the tide. Things take a dark turn when Kid is kidnapped by a bunch of thugs and clubbed unconscious.
Thankfully, Kid wakes up in time and manages to summon a legendary figure to help him out. With the odds stacked against him, Kid returns to the courthouse to try and save Conroy. In a twist of fate, Kid is able to summon the now-deceased Mr. Emory to testify of his own murder. With the truth finally revealed, the case is solved and justice is served.
